Bid Opening Update
July 9, 2009 – Good local interest in the Living Hope Expansion/Renovation project marked a bid opening on July 7. Representatives of Living Hope’s construction manager, Wehr Constructors, are in post-bid communication with the bidders to clarify any questions or concerns about their submitted bids. The next step is for the Steering, Design and Construction teams of the Building Committee to meet with Wehr representatives on Wednesday, July 15, to take a closer look at the bids and the total dollars for the project. At that point, a timeline can be clarified for church approval of the elements of Phase One and the beginning of actual construction of new facilties.
