Construction Philosophy and TimeLine

September 2007 - Living Hope Congregation approves purchase of  Holy Spirit Catholic Church property and facilities for $4.75 million and approves Expansion Concept.

January 2008 – Purchase of HSCC properties completed.  As part of agreement, HSCC pays LHBC rent until mid-2010, when it anticipates moving to new facilities on Smallhouse Road.

Winter 2008 - Site Preparation begins for new facilities and parking construction.

June 2009 - Parking lot completed.  Building pad ready for construction.
August 2009: Bids awarded and foundation work begins.

October 2009: Renovations begin on interior of existing Living Hope structure.

January 2010  – Renovations begin on current preschool rooms on 1st floor of education building.

February 2010 – Fire protection/sprinkler systems completed in adult education area and renovated preschool areas of current structures.  Holy Spirit Church congregation moves to its new facilities three months ahead of original schedule.

March 2010 -  Living Hope assumes complete possession of former HSCC properties.

April  -  June, 2010 - Renovations begin on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of Children’s Eduation Building;  

April 2010 – Renovations completed on Student Center and Missions Center.  Church members sign steel support beams to be placed in Connection Center.

May 23, 2010 – Open House for renovated Student Center, Missions Center and Chapel.

June 2010 - Renovations begin on current Administration area.

September 2010 - Completion of all renovations.

January 9, 2011 - Completion and Occupancy of New Education building.

April 18, 2011 -  Completion and Occupancy of Connection Center (Multi-purpose building).  All Construction and Renovations Complete!
